Flutter Butter® is nutritious and full of calories, with protein for good health and plenty of fat to keep birds warm in colder weather. It’s exceptionally low in salt, so it’s safe for birds. Buggy EcoRefills have added insects.
EcoRefills use 85% less plastic than Flutter Butter Pods. Slip a refill into the feeder’s pod, hang it from a branch or hook with the stainless steel chain, and watch the birds arrive.

“Another favourite of the birds. A variety of tits use it and the robin has now learned to perch at the front and feed. It is so easy to refill and I like the fact that less packaging is used in this way.”
— Mrs K L Walker

“Bird food that leaves no mess and is easy to refill.”
— Mrs Christine Smythe

Your questions answered
What's in each bundle?
Starter has 24 Buggy EcoRefills, a FREE feeder and a FREE bird guide. More Birds has 48 EcoRefills, two FREE feeders, a FREE Window & Wall Feeder, the guide and FREE delivery.
Which birds eat Flutter Butter?
Blue tits, great tits, robins and nuthatches come first, and in time great spotted woodpeckers too. You may also see starlings, which are red-listed and need our help.
Where should I hang the feeder?
Somewhere quiet near a tree or hedge so birds can dive for cover, with open space around it and away from cats. Birds find it quicker near feeders they already use.
Is peanut butter good for birds?
Ordinary peanut butter has too much salt for birds. Flutter Butter is naturally low in salt and gives them a nutritious boost all year round.
How do I fit the EcoRefills?
Peel off the lid and push the refill into the feeder's pod. Screw the pod back on and hang it from a branch or hook.
