Your questions answered
It arrives ready to use, so you just hang it up. The Flutter Butter® Starter Pack includes a feeder with Flutter Butter®, and the Goldfinch Finder™ comes filled with niger seed.
Flutter Butter® is suitable all year round (the RSPB recommends it as a safe summer food). The Goldfinch Finder™ holds niger seed, so put it out between 1 November and 30 April.
Yes. Refill the Flutter Butter® Feeder with Flutter Butter® EcoRefills, and refill the Goldfinch Finder™ with niger seed.
Clean your feeders once a week. Tip out old food, wash every part in hot soapy water or a bird-safe disinfectant, then rinse and let it dry before refilling. Weekly cleaning helps stop the spread of trichomonosis, a disease that passes quickly between finches at shared feeders.
