The Feeder Fresh™

A new way to feed garden birds

The Feeder Fresh™

A new way to feed garden birds

Most feeders hold as much seed as possible. The Feeder Fresh™ feeder is built to keep food fresh and birds healthy.

It keeps rain out and comes apart in seconds.

A rain hood that really protects

A rain hood that really protects

Wet seed is where mould starts. The large rain hood keeps the food dry, so birds get fresh food.

The vented lid and draining base keep it dry inside.

Designed with RSPB advice in mind

Designed with RSPB advice in mind

The RSPB recommends feeders that keep rain out, drain easily, limit condensation and are easy to clean.

The Feeder Fresh™ does all four.

Quick top-up cleans made easy

8 ways the Feeder Fresh™ feeder keeps garden birds healthy

Every part of the design is about keeping food dry and fresh and stopping disease spreading at the feeder.

1

Rain guard

A large rain hood blocks out moisture, so mould can't take hold

2

Small 1L capacity

Food is eaten quickly, before mould can build up

3

Vented lid

Seed ventilation stops humidity building inside

4

Good drainage

The base drains, so water doesn't sit in the food

5

Birds feed spaced out

Horizontal feeding level with birds side by side

6

Small perches

Too small for birds to crowd together

7

Dropped seed falls away

It drops to the ground, not back into the seed port

8

No droppings in the food

Birds can't foul the food

Lydia's Feeder Fresh feeder hanging in an ivy hedge, filled with sunflower hearts
Lydia

This Feeder Fresh feeder has been fantastic so far and it really does do what it says on the tin! It's so easy to take apart and clean, it protects my little birds from the poor weather, and keeps the food nice and dry. The rain guard and small perches also make it near impossible for the pigeons to take all the food from the smaller birds which is a massive plus too.

Rebecca

What a lovely little feeder! I replaced my current feeder with this new one, in my usual feeding spot. The birds came to check it out straight away, we had some blue tits, great tits and a curious robin. It's the perfect size for hanging in a tree or bush as the metal ring slips easily over the branches. Holds a good amount of seed and has lots of well thought out features to ensure you're not accidentaly aiding the spread of disease between visitors - a rain cover, 3 nicely spaced perches, vents etc. Very pleased!

Your questions answered

What's in each bundle?

Get Started has one Feeder Fresh feeder and More Birds has two, both with a FREE bird guide. Ultimate has three feeders plus Special Mix, suet grains and mealworms, also with the FREE bird guide.

What is the latest RSPB guidance?

The RSPB's advice is to focus on seasonal feeding and feeder hygiene. Keeping your feeders clean and putting out small, fresh amounts of food reduces the risk of disease spreading.

Where should I hang the feeder?

Somewhere quiet near a tree or hedge so birds can dive for cover, with open space around it and away from cats. A pole or wall bracket also works well, and birds find it quicker near feeders they already use.

How should I clean my bird feeder?

Empty out old bird food, then clean with hot, soapy water and a brush. Alternatively, use a cleaning spray such as the Feeder Fresh Cleaning Spray.

What can I put in it?

Seeds, seed mixes, sunflower hearts or mealworms all year round. Its 1L capacity keeps food fresh.
