HOW TO ORDER
We’ve made it as simple as possible to place your order in the way that’s easiest and most convenient.
An increasing number of our customers enjoy the simplicity of ordering online. It’s safe and secure, so there’s no need to worry about other people finding out your credit card number or personal details.
However, we also know that many of you still prefer placing your order by phone, post fax or email:

REGULAR CUSTOMERS & ACCOUNT CUSTOMERS
Just give us your name and postcode when placing your order. We’ll complete the other address details for you. We also offer the convenience of an account facility for customers who prefer this method of payment.
REGULAR CUSTOMER DISCOUNT OF 5%
Our Regular Customer Discount of 5% on foods applies to second and subsequent food orders where payment is by cheque or debit card. This discount will be automatically applied to your order.
GIFT SERVICE
We’ll be delighted to send any of our products to somebody else on your behalf. If you’d like to, enclose a card or letter when you send us your order. We’ll make sure it’s included in the parcel when it’s sent out. Or, if you prefer, we can include one of our own greetings cards with a handwritten message of your own choice. There’s no additional charge for this service: just ask when placing your order.
THREE DELIVERY OPTIONS – THE CHOICE IS YOURS
We always endeavour to despatch your order within 24 hours of receiving it. If an item is out of stock we will notify you promptly. At peak times we give priority to food orders since we know how important it is for these to arrive quickly.
We offer three delivery options to give you more choice and exceptional value. Please choose from:
- Standard: within 4 working days - £3.50. This is our usual prompt service to most of the UK. For example, orders placed on a Monday will normally be delivered the same week.
- Priority: within 2 working days - £3.75. This is our popular service for rapid delivery. For example, orders placed on a Monday will normally be delivered by Wednesday.
- Next Day: always sent the day you order - £3.95. Your most urgent orders will be dispatched immediately to arrive the next working day. Please place your order with us by 4pm if you require Next Day delivery.
Offshore Islands, Northern Ireland and Scottish Highlands. Please add £6 for Standard Delivery. For Priority or Next Day delivery please contact us when placing your order.
Live Foods (including Dried Mealworms). When ordering live foods on their own, delivery is just £1.50 to all UK addresses.
Overseas, including Eire and Channel Islands. Delivery is charged at cost. Please ask us for a quotation.
HAVE YOU ORDERED FROM US BEFORE?
If so, all you need give us is your surname and postcode; we'll complete the other address details. And if you prefer to receive an Account (our form of invoice) for payment at your convenience, we are pleased to offer this service. Our Regular Customer Discount of 5% on foods applies to 2nd and subsequent orders where payment is by cheque or debit card (Switch, Delta or Connect). We'll automatically apply this to your order.
FREE-FORM ORDERING™ - THERE’S NO SIMPLER WAY TO ORDER.
Maybe you don’t fancy filling in forms. Our Free-Form Order Pad™ makes it incredibly easy to order. Just write down your order in your own words, adding any comments or instructions as you wish.
We know all our products inside and out, so you don't need to worry about complicated product codes or part numbers when ordering this way. Just use the product name. Even if you’re not certain what it’s called, just describe it in your own words and we'll recognize it.
If you simply want to repeat your regular order, that’s all you need to tell us. We'll find all your details and complete the order for you. And if there’s anything that we’re not sure about, we'll call you to check.
When we process your order we'll work out the total price due. Be assured that you will always receive the lowest applicable price, including our Regular Customer Discount of 5% for Birdfoods if applicable.
