The Schwegler 2B Treecreeper Box
Treecreepers like to nest on trees with thick bark such as oak, alder, poplar and pine. Our box has an open back, allowing the birds their preferred contact with the tree trunk, and a removable front panel for inspection. It is easily fixed to the tree with two wooden blocks and aluminium nails (supplied).
Use on trees with at least a 25cm diameter.
This Treecreeper Box is supplied with a removable front panel for simple inspection and cleaning purposes. The interior can therefore be checked very quickly. The nest box is attached to the tree trunk using two flexible oak mounting blocks and Aluminium Nails. This ensures that it is firmly held in place and allowance is made for the continued growth of the tree trunk. Suitable tree diameter approx. 25 – 30 cm, to ensure that the Nest Box fits well against the trunk.
