The Schwegler 2M Nest Box
Hang this domed box from a branch by its stainless-steel loop and its occupants will be much safer from marauding cats and squirrels.
Ideal for: great tits, blue tits, marsh tits, coal tits, redstarts, nuthatch, pied flycatcher, house sparrow and tree sparrow.
Like the Schwegler 1B, this box also has a brood chamber with an internal diameter of 12 cm. It differs, however, in that it can be freely suspended and has a conical roof. These features protect against Cats and Deter Martens. It is very popular in private gardens and especially around fruit trees, mainly in areas where the trees are short and have many branches.
As with all SCHWEGLER boxes, an advantage is that the front panels are easy to replace and are available as a separate component. The front panels of products 1B and 2M are interchangeable, depending on the frequency of the individual bird species and the customary entrance hole sizes. The 2M is supplied with the ordered hanger. With the FT Hanger the 2M is supplied with all the necessary attachments and three Aluminium Nails.
